Messi scores twice in MLS to give Inter Miami a big win. Argentine superstar Lionel Messi has been showing his magic in Major League Soccer (MLS). In his latest match, he scored two brilliant goals to lead Inter Miami to a 4-0 victory over New York City FC.

Inter Miami dominated the game from the start. Messi scored a goal in the first half, then added another in the second half. The team’s other two goals came from Jose Martinez and Sergio Busquets. Inter Miami was dominant throughout the match.

Messi scored his first goal in the 74th minute, chipping over the head of New York City goalkeeper Matt Friese. Three minutes after Suarez, who returned to the field after serving a three-match ban for spitting, scored, Messi scored his second with a great corner shot from the right wing.

After the match, Messi said, “We played great as a team. This win will boost our confidence even more.” Coach Tata Martino also praised Messi’s performance.

The win moved Inter Miami up a place in the MLS Eastern Conference. Messi has scored 12 goals and provided seven assists in the league so far.

Inter Miami is third in the Eastern Conference in MLS with 55 points from 29 matches. Philadelphia Union is at the top with 60 points from 31 matches.

Miami has a chance to win the Bar Supporters Shield. Messi, who is playing in the MLS Cup playoffs for the second time in his career, has scored a goal in three consecutive matches, as well as scoring himself.
